The Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL) has enhanced its oil output by 145 barrels per day at the Pasakhi-7 well in Hyderabad, Sindh, bringing production to 520 barrels per day. The improvement comes from using advanced technologies, including a Jet Pump system and Multi Physio Chemical Stimulation, the latter marking its debut in the southern region.
In another milestone, OGDCL’s Chak 212-1 exploratory well in Punjab’s Mari East Block has made a significant discovery, producing two mmscfd of gas. The gas is now being delivered to Engro Fertiliser via a newly installed 14.5 km flow line, showcasing OGDCL’s commitment to meeting energy demands through innovative practices.
